UBT obtained Certificates of Conformity for products that produce: woven continuous basalt fiber – (CBF) fabrics and tapes, super-thin CBF roving, chopped CBF and tangles. Certificates are issued by the conformity assessment body “OS” Eurostandard “and confirm the proper quality and compliance of products with Ukrainian standards and requirements.

UBT set their production of super-thin chopped CBF to a diameter of 5 to 9 microns. The length of chopped CBF can range from 5 to 50 mm.
Chopped CBF is a unique product that has all the properties of CBF and can be used in the manufacture of mats, filters, and panels using various technologies of molding, spraying, or other application technologies.

UBT is pleased to inform you about the development of a new product manufactured out of super-thin CBF – ultralight woven CBF strips. The first samples of such ribbons have been successfully obtained and can be produced in the weaving of varying widths and types. CBF tape is a high-quality product that shares all properties with CBF fabric and can be used both in combination with CBF fabric and independently.

As part of the production technology evolution of ultralight fabrics, UBT received samples of ultralight fabric, such as canvas, made of 28 Tex thread weighing in at 110 grams/sqm.

UBT is develops processing technologies for its own super-thin CBF. As a result, the production of super light basalt fiber with a standard density and weight of 120 grams/sqm can be produced.
The first samples of an ultra-light type of fabric made of CBF string 30 Tex have been received. CBF fabric has excellent physical-mechanical properties at the same time maintaining its unique chemical and thermal attributes.
Work to improve the production of ultralight fabrics continues.

The Saxon Textile Research Institute e.V. in Germany conducted appropriate tests on physical-mechanical properties.
For the tests, different samples of CBF were provided. Appropriate physical-mechanical properties of CBF samples were approved, in particular the micron and other features of CBF.

UBT is pleased to announce that based on the use of its own know-how, samples of super-thin CBF of two types (5-7 / 7-9) microns of monofilament diameter were produced. UBT is a start-up project specializing in the production of super-thin CBF and other products composed of it. Obtaining samples of super-thin CBF confirmed the viability of the technologies and know-how at UBT – a company targeting the production of high-quality super-thin CBF.

We are happy to inform you, that UBT has successfully launched its first stage of super-thin CBF production. After the launch of the first stage, UBT plans to work on its own production know-how of super-thin CBF and creating samples of CBF that would meet all set standards or parameters.
